Feature & Follow!

03:39:00

Hi Everyone!
I'm back home in Melbourne after a month of travelling through Europe, so I'm ready to relax and get some hardcore blogging (and last minute studying) done before school starts in two weeks (very sad).

Today however, I will be again taking part in the weekly meme - Feature And Follow! (usually it is on a Friday but for the last couple I haven't been able to do it then oops).

Feature & Follow is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee's View & Alison Can Read. The aim of this meme is to make new friends, gain new followers and discover new and amazing book blogs!
(I'm never very good at explaining how it works, so instead of being confused by my explanation, please check out one of the host's posts!)

Each week there is a question that everyone a part of the blog hop must answer!

Question of the Week: Do you own any doubles of your books? What led to getting that second...or third or fourth...copy? - Suggested by A Great Read

Usually, I would only own another copy of a book for a couple of reasons:
1. Someone bought me a book I already own, but I don't want to be mean and let them know
2. There is a new book cover that is SO much better than the one I own (or it is just so cool that I must own it)
3. I didn't realise I already owned the book (I have so many books that I lose track so as stupid as this may sound, there have been times when I have almost bought a second copy of a book)

Therefore, I do own a double of some books:
1. The Harry Potter Series
I reckon this will be a very common answer in different people's FF posts because there are so many versions of the series, all of which are beautiful! I have the two copies of the whole series, the first ones I bought being traditional (as well as the British version), the next the more modern of the two (Bloomsbury released them in about 2010 or 2011)

2. Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
This was because of Reason #3 listed above, I forgot I owned this book already!

What About You?
What books do you have extra copies of and why?
Let me know in the comments!

  2. If anyone ever offers to buy me books now, I have to give them a specific list so as to avoid doubles. Kind of ruins the surprise a bit.

Thanks for stopping by mine and the follow. Followed back via Bloglovin xx
